This webinar is one of two Northwest Innovative Forestry Series events in 2023. The is a field tour in Washington on October 6th. This year’s NIFS focus is experimental forests, traditional and non-traditional, and their efforts in facilitating innovation and community within forest management and research. Please join us for this webinar where Paul Anderson, the Station Director of the Pacific Northwest Research Station, will be providing us with a broad-spectrum view of experimental forests and finding a balance between long-term continuity and quickly changing information needs.
Paul’s presentation will be followed by a panel discussion made up of participants selected to represent perspectives and experiences in forest experimentation that are not directly related to traditional experimental forests.
The panel participants include:
