Full position description and application instructions Summary: Dedicated to managing the Fire Adapted Communities New Mexico learning network (FACNM) and other duties as assigned. In this position, the successful applicant will support peer-learning and professional relationship building for members of the statewide network through outreach, education, network resources, and engagement. Network members include community leaders (HOA, Firewise, etc.), fire service personnel, local government officials (municipal, county, Tribal), and land management agency officials. The goal of FACNM programming is to create and share best practices for various aspects of community wildfire adaptation. To accomplish this goal, FACNM provides networking opportunities; education and outreach through blog posts, webinars, website upkeep and creation, and in-person learning exchanges; mitigation and educational events through the FACNM microgrant program; and planning for the annual New Mexico Wildland Urban Fire Summit (WUFS). Full position description and application instructions Summary: Lead and maintain the Guild’s All-Lands Watershed Restoration Program with the goal of increasing the pace and scale of watershed restoration in the region. The Manager will be responsible for conducting, contracting and managing watershed restoration action plans (WRAP), wetland plans, and other riparian and watershed initiatives on four national forests in Colorado and New Mexico, managing agreements and contracts with the Forest Service, landowners, and Guild partners, applying for large landscape-scale grants to grow the watershed restoration program, engage in growing and maintaining partnerships, and participating in the 2-3-2 Cohesive Strategy Partnership.

• Attend rural water user association meetings to work with community leaders as part of a holistic community-centered approach.
• Work from the existing Needs Assessment to determine where workforce development and/or training opportunities are needed to meet anticipated watershed restoration needs, as well as refresh it annually.
• Pursue grant opportunities to establish a robust, multi-year, all-lands watershed restoration program. Examples could include the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) and Bureau of Reclamation WaterSmart grant opportunities.
• Conduct Watershed Restoration Action Planning (WRAPs) on NFS lands and similar approaches for non-NFS lands to collaboratively identify essential and complementary projects where landowners are amenable with an emphasis on identified focal watersheds

Full position description and application instructions Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative leader who is outgoing, personable, and skilled at connecting with individuals and groups. The successful candidate will use their experience in project management, partnership building, science communication, and ecological forestry to work with Guild staff, partners, and landowners to evaluate project needs, implement climate-smart forestry projects, conduct educational outreach, and facilitate collaborative participation, among other activities as project needs are identified. The successful individual will:

• Work with a team to coordinate collaboration for the Rio Chama CFLRP and the 232 Cohesive Strategy Partnership,
• Implement climate-smart forestry by working with a team to develop strategy and build partnerships for climate mitigation and forest resilience that benefits underserved and small-acreage forest landowners,
• Support Forest Stewards Guild work by:
  • Maintaining and grow partnerships for Southwest programs,
  • As needed and desired, may support Guild prescribed fire operations,

Application deadline: Considerations on a rolling basis Full position description and application instructions Summary: Coordinate essential partnership functions of the 2-3-2 Cohesive Strategy Partnership and manage partnership and funder relations on the Rio Chama Collaborative Forest Restoration Program (CFLRP) project. In addition, this position will assist other staff in their partnership coordination. Using experience in project management, partnership building, and by integrating learning from other CFLRPs and shared stewardship efforts in the region, the successful candidate will work with partners to evaluate project needs, develop and maintain relationships with funders and stakeholders. As project needs are identified, the Partnership Coordinator will collaboratively develop solutions to move project outcomes forward.
