Hemlock Restoration Initiative is partnering with the Transylvania Creation Care Fellowship to host this demonstration of chemical treatment methods to control Hemlock Wooly Adelgid. Participants will practice assessing hemlock health to determine the best treatment options, and our staff will demonstrate and explain a variety of methods available to all landowners in North Carolina. We will discuss ways to reduce environmental risks from hemlock treatment. We will also go over hiring a tree care professional for hemlock treatment.
Participants will be provided with a series of short videos with additional background information.
