The Family Forest Carbon Program provides an opportunity for small landowners to access the growing carbon market. Developed by the American Forest Foundation and The Nature Conservancy, the FFCP enables family forest owners them to help address climate change while earning income from their land. Foresters will play a key role in connecting landowners with the FFCP and then implementing climate-smart forestry practices that go above and beyond what is otherwise common practice.
