This TREX will provide prescribed fire training opportunities to local and regional fire practitioners while supporting management of natural resources on state, federal, and private lands.

Target Group: Prescribed fire and wildfire personnel, including Department of Defense, National Guard, federal, state, tribal, and non-governmental agencies, private practitioners and university faculty and students.

Registration Fee: The fee is $350 for non-DOD participants. DoD participants’ fees are paid for by the Michigan Army National Guard. The fee for university students is $100. Waivers may be available for participants who bring equipment (e.g. engines, UTVs, etc.). A limited number of scholarships may be available for participants.
