Join us at the Cloquet Forestry Center to learn about the recently published Forestry for Minnesota Birds Conservation Guidebook and how to use it. All attendees will get a free copy of the new book! The digital version is available here: https://foreststewardsguild.org/forestry-for-the-birds/.
Agenda:
- Start at 9:30
- Initial talk about Forestry for MN Birds at Cloquet Forestry Center
- Visit Otter Creek pine site at Cloquet Forestry Center
- Lunch
- Group field tour to two field sites on Carlton Co land
- Disburse around 4:00 p.m.
Transportation:
We will carpool together to field sites.
Food:
Cookies in the morning and a catered lunch will be provided.
Please bring:
- A water bottle
- Dress for the weather
- Clothes or repellent, if desired, for ticks and mosquitoes
Lodging:
A limited number of single occupancy rooms are available on site at the Cloquet Forestry Center. $45 option in registration.
Continuing education credits from SAF and the Wildlife Society are pending approval.
