Meeting at Standing Rock Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We will walk a segment of the Mountains to Sea trail near Waynesville, NC

We invite forest practitioners and others interested in forest management to a workshop about Appalachian Cove Forests with MountainTrue. This workshop is field-based and primarily focused on how to identify cove forests. We will also touch on ecological forest management and operations in cove forest sites. The workshop will be a “Walk & Talk”-style and include a 1.5-mile hike held at a segment of the Mountains to Sea trail near Waynesville, NC.
