In this position, you will serve as a training program expert in Wildland Urban Interface. Typical assignments include:
- Serves as a recognized national training program expert in Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) and the Fire adaptive Community environment, including experience in fire suppression, command, planning and wildfire community-based risk reduction.
- Execution of curricula management responsibility for the WUI area, evaluating both internal organizational policies and policies form other Federal agencies to determine the impact on the program and courses.
- Serves as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR), monitoring and evaluating instructional delivery performance to ensure the presentation of WUI programs meet the quality and educational standards of the National Fire Academy.
- Responsible for program implementation, development, management, and instruction of all activities surrounding the U.S. Fire Administration/National Fire Academy training initiatives in Wildland Urban Interface curriculum areas.
