Manage the day to day operations of a small family owned forestry company. Essential duties include cash operations, accounting for weekly forestry income, accounts receivable, accounts payable, journal entries, month end close, monthly financial reporting to all partners. It also included all human resource functions such as payroll, insurance, 401K, new hire reports and State and Federal Taxes.
Support the Managing Forester and three other foresters with any special projects or day to day office needs. Create and maintain a pleasant work environment, providing high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and quality administration, ensuring the day to day business runs smoothly. Working with tenants to meet their needs is also essential.
Advanced Excel knowledge is essential to this position and prior QuickBooks knowledge is helpful. Should be comfortable with using the computer, online banking and Microsoft office products.
