- Identify key stakeholders, including scientists, policymakers, community members, industry representatives, and resource managers and work to build relationships with stakeholders to enhance the exchange of climate science relevant information that informs decision-making and directs the development of research to priority information needs in support of Maine’s climate response.
- Engage in supportive activities enabling MCSIE to interface with priority meetings, events, and preparedness activities that serve to couple the work of MCSIE with the implementation of Maine’s climate response in these sectors.
- Engage in opportunities that inform MCSIE and stakeholders about ongoing climate relevant research (who, what, when, and where among researchers and stakeholders) that improves communication and coordination; including outreach products such as selected specific issue reports documenting state-of-the-research for strategic Maine priorities.
