Summary:

Coordinate the Forest Ecosystem Monitoring Cooperative (FEMC) community management, outreach, and communications activities in support of the collection and identification of stakeholder needs to the FEMC staff and guiding committees, and, conversely, the delivery of information, products and tools to stakeholders that meet these needs. Develop and keep current an outreach and communications strategy that supports the FEMC strategic plan and annual work plans. Develop an annual outreach and communications action plan to meet the outreach and communications strategy. Develop and deliver trainings, webinars, fact sheets, summary reports, infographics, and other online and print-based materials about FEMC’s products and services. Oversee the solicitation and review process for the FEMC Ecosystem Monitoring Fund. Contribute substantive and logistical support to the development and delivery of the annual conference. Oversee media campaigns and content delivery on FEMC’s social media channels; compile stories and write monthly newsletters on FEMC activities. Contribute material to grant reports and funding proposals and perform related technical and administrative duties. Provide supervision of temporary hourly employees, student workers and/or AmeriCorps service members.
