Please stay tuned if you had registered for either the original date or rate date of this event (both of which were postponed). \n\n \nWebinar (completed)\nWatch the webinar recording to learn about the basics of prescribed fire\, the Oak Hill Community Park and Forest\, and wildfire mitigation resources.  \nLive burn (registration closed)\nDate TBD\n9:15 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. ET (lunch included)\nOak Hill Community Park & Forest. \n820 NC-126\, Morganton\, NC 28655 and then follow the signs. This hybrid workshop will explain the role of prescribed fire in forests of Western North Carolina\, introduce how to conduct a prescribed burn\, and describe how to use prescribed fire and other tools to mitigate wildfire risk. \nLive burn summary: We will be burning two units (map) on the Canoe Creek tract\, one is a grassy field and the other is wooded.
