DESCRIPTION:Register ($60 SFEC Members\, $110 Non-Members (others)\, $30 Students) \nApril 15\, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CT\, and\nApril 22 and 29\, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m CT \nThis workshop is eligible for 10 CAT1 SAF CFE credits. \nDuring this three-day online workshop we’ll provide you with tools to navigate ethical decisions in professional forestry context. We‘ll examine Professional Codes of Conduct\, explore case studies\, and develop systematic skills of critical thinking for ethical deliberation. DESCRIPTION:Register \nApril 29\, 2021\n12:00 – 1:30 p.m. ET \nA joint program between The Ohio State University\, North Carolina State University\, the University of Maine\, the University of Idaho\, and IUFRO. \nPresenters will provide recent results from leading forest economic models that estimate the costs and potential of carbon sequestration in U.S. forests and provide U.S. scale estimates of forest-based mitigation potential and costs for various activities (afforestation\, reforestation\, forest management\, rotation extensions)\, as well as at the regional\, county and mill-shed scale for relevant activities. \nA panel discussion will focus on how to move from ambition to reality on the landscape with experts on market design and implementation.
