Join The Nature Conservancy\, University of Vermont\, and Audubon Vermont for a guided walk through the Long Pond Natural Area\, a 321-acre demonstration site showcasing ecological forestry in action. Participants will explore active silvicultural projects\, including climate-adapted tree plantings\, stream restoration\, and experimental timber harvests designed to enhance bird habitat and forest resilience.
