DESCRIPTION:Registration extended to March 19th! \nSpace is limited. Students are encouraged to register early so we can prioritize your participation. \nMarch 22\, 2025\n8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CT. \nBack up date is April 12\, 2025 \nPark at: 201 Seventh Ave\, Tuscaloosa\, AL  35401. Group vans will transport us to the canoe put-in. \nJoin UA’s chapter of the Forest Stewards Guild for a forestry-focused canoe trip along the Cahaba River! We will be discovering how managing forests affects river and stream ecosystems. \nAt a glance: \n\nBeginner friendly canoe trip lead by the Cahaba River Society\nBoats\, paddles\, and gear will be provided with registration fee\nTransportation for the event to and from campus are provided\n\nPlease bring: \n\nWater bottle\,\nPacked lunch\,\nSunscreen\,\nClosed-toe footwear and clothes that can get muddy. Feet WILL get wet. No crocs\, typically old sneakers work best\,\nChange of clothes in case you get too wet.
